2.3 Digital copyright
The development of the Internet has made pain points of copyright increasingly clear, and digital copyright has gradually become the weakest link in the entire digital media ecosystem. Digital copyright refers to the online publishing copyright of various publications and information materials, which means the right to disseminate content through emerging digital media, including the copyright for the production and distribution of various e-books, e-magazines, and mobile phone publications. Blockchain technology provides an unalterable and decentralized form of copyright registration for digital copyrights. Therefore, it is possible to use blockchain to record every licensed digital copyright, so as to realize the supervision of the complete circulation of digital copyrights. In the Internet era, a large amount of information dissemination tends to be zero-cost, and the flexibility of digital media has spawned massive misappropriation and infringements, making information management and governance gradually become a pain point in the industry. The natural adaptability of blockchain accelerates the integration of the two.
At the current copyright trading platform, copyright management is under heavy pressure confronted with large amounts of data and high operating costs. Because of its decentralization, tamper-resistance, traceability, openness and transparency, the blockchain can effectively solve the problems of high digital copyright registration costs and difficult supervision. In the existing copyright confirmation system, although the national copyright administrative department has high authority, based on the characteristics of copyright confirmation form examination, the credibility of the information is still doubtful, which leads to the fact that the proof in the judicial field is still weak. The natural advantage of blockchain in building information credibility has given birth to the construction of a transparent platform for copyright confirmation.
